Salt Mine Tour
Visit the 500-year-old salt mine of Berchtesgaden, where you'll get an intriguing insight into the world underground. Throw on your protective clothing before boarding the mine train that takes you a quarter-mile into the mountain. Venture through the Alpenstrasse, along the Königseeache up the Obersalzberg. You'll be greeted by exciting highlights here, including the salt room, a raft ride across Mirror Lake, the Salt Cathedral, and more. You'll have some leisure time to explore the picturesque town of Berchtesgaden on your own afterward.
Original Sound of Music Tour
In the afternoon, you'll be taken to the original filming locations of the much-adored '60s film, The Sound of Music. Featuring sights like the Mirabell Gardens (with the Pegasus Fountain), Nonnberg Abbey, Leopoldskron Palace, the Salzburg Lake District, Hellbrunn Palace with the gazebo, and the church in Mondsee (where Baron von Trapp and Maria got married), this tour gives you all the feels of the movie.
