I really enjoyed visiting Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque because they offer such a unique glimpse into Istanbul’s history. Walking through these magnificent landmarks and seeing the incredible architecture, enormous domes, intricate details, and beautiful interiors in person was genuinely impressive. What I enjoyed most was experiencing how much history is contained within these spaces and seeing the contrast between the two while still feeling connected to the same city and its past.

Our hotel accomodation was not far from this remarkable sight and during breakfast on the hotel's roof top we could see the 2 magnificent mosques. On our second day in Istanbul we walked towards the sight. Entrance was not a problem with our tickets and once inside, we could enjoy the marvels of these 2 mosques. Simply amazing art and architecture. Inside, everything was well organised and we were able to take several photos as souvenirs. We spent more than 4 hours going around since these sights are huge. An unforgetable experience. We plan to return at a future day and we shall book the same tickets when the time comes.

I was lucky enough to be the only visitor on this tour with Abdullah as my guide. Abdullah made everything very interesting and answered all my questions fully. The Hagia Sophia is under renovation at the moment and I feel a bit over priced, when you could queue and enter for free if praying. Maybe other tourists knew this! It doesnt detract from how excellent Abdullah is and how much i enjoyed the excursion

Great to see the Mosque. It is so busy you can barely move so once in it is static. The guide was great and funny but with so many people around you have to focus to hear everything. The audio system was good. The queue to get in, with tickets, is about 30 minutes so be prepared to wait.

See two landmark interiors in one booking, with time to compare spaces, art, and atmosphere instead of planning separate visits or juggling tickets.

Your ticket covers Blue Mosque interior access and Hagia Sophia interior access, so you step into each in turn and experience both spaces from within.

Take time inside each site to look up at domes, follow floor paths, and notice calligraphy and tile work as you move quietly through the spaces.

Choose between an English-language tour with a licensed guide or an audio guide — and let that shape how you move through both sites.

What to expect

Continue to the Blue Mosque, known for its domes and minarets, and for its role as an active place of worship in Istanbul's Old Town.

Take part in a 1 to 1.5-hour guided tour with your licensed English-speaking guide, or use the multilingual audio guide to move through the interior independently.

Hagia Sophia covering: Carry a lightweight scarf or shawl so you can cover up appropriately before entering.
