As a family of 12 we had the best time. From the moment we walked into the reception area till when we stepped off the train .

Enjoyed the train journey. The country side. The village of Amamour is small, but enjoyed the coffee and cake we had from the Cafe. And the ambience sm towns give.

Great day out...a very special day aboard a "Steam" train. All the volunteers on the train are super friendly and helpful. Recommend to anyone for unique experience

Lovely vintage train memories of my childhood travelling country lines to see grandparents. Easy booking system online and purchase if extra tickets at the train station. Dedicated volunteer staff knowledgeable about the history of the train with excellent customer skills interacting with customers, the village at Amamoor provided a gorgeous stopover.

Booking tickets online was easy as. Felt like a kid again on the steam train with the smell and the choo choo whistle 🤣. Very informative from the newby commentator, he did a great job and was funny with it. Overall it was a great experience 👍

We actually didn't make it as my son as unwell. I was told we would get a voucher to use to book again but didn't receive it . However I am not unhappy because I know thay if cancel less than 24 hours before the time you lose your money so I expected that . It was just such a pity my son got sick that day

Super easy ticketing process, we got to Gympie a bit earlier, so we had time to have morning tea at the cafe at the station the train ride was great, very informative commentary along the way, staff were amazing and looked after us well.a fantastic and enjoyable day out.

Fantastic to be able to experience this historic moment. Special day as it was my 60th birthday also. Service wa great and our attending staff member "Angel" was fantastic. We upgraded to have the lunch experience and the meal was great. Was disappointing that the booking was done through an American owned and run company and not from the Australian web site we tried to book on for the non-for profit Mary Valley Rattler.
