The opportunity to see such a unique structure is in itself an absolute privilege. Getting to ascend it's spiral stairway, to enjoy the view from the top only added to the experience. However, the rest of the sights (baptistery, cathedral, and camposanto) were as beautiful, and well worth the time.
The ticketing process, booking and instant provision of online tickets was seamless, and required minimal effort on my part.
An altogether pleasant, and rewarding experience.

I loved the view from the top of the tower and inside the other buildings. There is no signage to explain that you need to take your handbag to the cloakroom before climbing the tower though. I didn't find that out until I'd already been queuing for some time and then almost missed my time slot.

Very happy to have a ticket booked beforehand. It's worth it to know that you are in a time slot. There's is not always a long line but it is better to have everything arranged ahead of time because you never know how many people will come suddenly.
