Er wusste so viel, nie war es uns langweilig. Weil es regnerisch war, hat er den Trip so gewählt, dass wir dem Regen meistens entkommen konnten. Auch bei Nebel ist der Trip empfehlenswert, bekommt eine mystische Note. Der Chauffeur ist sehr sicher gefahren, wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

Our tour guide for the full day Duoro Valley Tour was Paula and she was absolutely fantastic! We learned so much and had a lot of fun on this tour! It can be a long day but she kept us entertained and engaged the whole time. We actually went on a second tour with Living Tours the next day - 1/2 Day Porto Tour with John. He was amazing too! Living Tours is an excellent company if you want to go on tours, learn a lot and have fun. They care about you and your experience.

We did the day long tour out of Porto to the wine country including a river cruise. Our guide Sofia was informative and funny and the driver Claudio did an excellent job getting us to all of the locations safely and also played good music on the bus. Several wine tastings and lunch is included in the price.

Aparte de estar muy bien organizada la excursión, la guía Diana que nos acompañó, Diana, es muy profesional, atenta y simpática. Nos explicó todo detalladamente e hizo el viaje fuera más ameno aún.

Myself, along with five friends had a private tour of the door Valley. Our guide and driver Nuno spoke excellent English, had a good sense of humour and was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the various places we visited, the vineyards and Portuguese, wine and port in general. The Mercedes minibus was clean and cool and the audio system meant we could hear Nuno easily. The place we stopped for lunch, had amazing, panoramic views, was modern clean and served superb local food and wines. The boat trip at Pinhão was just long enough, and we had an enthusiastic and bubbly guide on the boat. We then visited a local & traditional wine and port, maker, and again, the enthusiasm and knowledge of the winery guide was excellent and inspiring. A thoroughly good day and have no hesitation in recommending if you are travelling as a small group.

We took two private and they were both terrific. The half day city tour and the historical Douro Valley tours were well-paced and informative. We saw the major sites in Porto and the surrounding area. We are not big drinkers so the historical tour was perfect for us for seeing the views, having a great home cooked lunch, and a winery visit Luis was our guide for both tours and took great care of us. He let us set the pace as my parents are elderly. When we missed out on the valley viewpoint due to fog, he made an extra stop in the afternoon and made sure we got to see the beautiful river view. This, I highly recommend this company and especially Luis.
