J'ai pu visité Auchwitz. Un taxi est venu nous chercher à l'hôtel pour nous emmener au centre de Cracovie où un bus nous attendait. Nous étions accompagné par un guide qui parlait anglais mais dont le propos était très clair (de plus, le propos était traduit ensuite en français par une passagère du bus). Arrivé sur place une autre guide nous a fait la visite en français. Malgré la dureté du lieu, la visite était très intéressante. Je recommande. Seul bémol, l'horaire à un peu varié (9h50 au lieu de 9h, nous avons été prévenu la veille au soir mais nous étions bien accompagné).

We chose this tour for a later pick up time because many others started at around 6am. Unfortunately it was changed at the last minute and we had to be picked up at the earlier time and different location. HOWEVER, the driver was lovely and kept an open line of communication, he helped understand the process of the tour and answered our questions

El transporte a Auschwitz fue muy puntual, a pesar de que nos cambiaron la hora de recogida dos veces no nos cambió mucho los planes ya que era una hora de diferencia. El conductor nos explicó todo el planning de forma detallada e hicimos una parada en una gasolinera antes para ir al baño y tomar algo, ya que en el museo estaría más lleno y no hay cafeterías. La guía llevaba a un grupo de unas 30 personas, pero usábamos auriculares, así que la información no se perdía. Es cierto que es un tour muy rápido ya que hay que ver mucho en poco tiempo pero no te quedas sin escuchar ningún detalle. Mi única recomendación es desayunar bien antes de ir y llevar algún snack rápido que llene, ya que no hay descansos largos para comer propiamente en la hora de la comida.

The bus pickup was on time and the first guide (with us on the bus, distributing the tickets) was nice. We did not enter the museum at expected time (according to our tickets) but about half an hour later. The secound guide (who led the tour through both museums) was nice, but it was hard to understands her english and it seemed she was rushing all the time (the first tour was finished about 20 min faster than expected). We didn't have time to stop or take pictures and the tour did not cover all the parts of the site.

The overall experience was very good at Auschwitz, however, the transfers were poor. Start time was delayed by 2 hours, when on the bus the guide only spoke German, so when arriving at the venue you had no idea where to go. The tour itself was quite rushed as there is so much to see, however, there was a lot of time spent waiting to start the tour I felt this could have been smoother allowing more time at the camp museum.

La visite à été presqu'au pas de course surtout à BIrkenau. Pas de pose pour le dîner. Heureusement que je n'avais pas pris votre lunch car je ne vois pas quand il aurait pu être distribué. La guide était très bien dans ses explications et on sentait bien qu'elle était émue en expliquant toutes les horreurs qui se sont produites là-bas. Conclusion : guide très bien mais organisation de journée mauvaise.

Notre guide française était exceptionnelle, passionnée avec des explications claires et très intéressante. Nous avons adoré ce moment plein d'émotion. C'était une rêve pour moi de visiter ce lieu témoin d'atrocité et je remercie encore notre guide. Pour le trajet tout était hyper bien organisé les déplacements tout était vraiment niquel rien a dire de mauvais
