Djurparken är mycket vacker och inte så stor. Så du kan göra allt på en dag. En stor upplevelse trots den tryckande värmen. Djuren har vackra, rymliga inhägnader. Vi var tvungna att ta många pauser, vilket inte är ett problem eftersom det finns flera cateringfaciliteter. Båtutflykten var också trevlig, inte så lång, vilket är trevligt. Fantastisk vegetation. Slutsats: Ett fantastiskt zoo som jag verkligen kan rekommendera.

Det här är tredje gången jag besöker Leipzig Zoo - första gången i augusti förra året, sedan under vintermånaderna och nu i juli. Jag fortsätter att komma tillbaka eftersom jag älskar den tropiska hallen - det är den perfekta platsen att ladda batterierna på. Mitt favoritbesök var på vintern: nästan inga människor, fridfull atmosfär och till och med de stora katterna var ute och synliga istället för att gömma sig från sommarvärmen. Men det ögonblick som verkligen förvånade mig? Gorillor som gick omkring med filtar över huvudet! Om du är nyfiken på vad jag menar - gå och se själv ;) Japp, geparden var min absoluta favorit! Och ... fåglar som flyger fritt ... och två fiskvänner. Japp, det finns vänskap under vattnet också ;) P.S. Jag rekommenderar starkt att du köper din biljett online - jag hoppade över en superlång kö tack vare appen! En perfekt tidsbesparare!

Det var särskilt trevligt att se sjölejonen, elefanterna och i Pongoland. Mötena med giraffer och surikater var också mycket trevliga.

Djurparken är helt fantastisk, allt är rent och lätt att utforska för alla tack vare den mycket väldesignade översiktskartan som tillhandahålls. Djurskötarnas liveförklaringar är hjälpsamma och bra, vi kommer tillbaka. Marche Restaurant är inte att rekommendera, priserna är helt orimliga, kvaliteten är dålig och personalens vänlighet matchar inte det annars sååå gästvänliga Leipzig.

On this adventure, get up and close with nature and explore the six adventure worlds at Leipzig Zoo. In the Founder's Garden, Gondwanaland, Asia, Africa, Pongoland, and South America you will discover a fascinating animal world. The zoo is home to more than 850 animal species, including many rare and endangered species such as Amur leopards, Sumatran tigers, and western lowland gorillas. It is also famous for its large enclosures that mimic the animals' natural habitat as closely as possible.
A trip through Gondwanaland is like a journey to the jungles of Africa, Asia, and South America. Nearly 170 species of exotic animals and more than 500 plant species await you in this covered area, which, by the way, is larger than two soccer fields. Follow the winding jungle paths, the treetop trail as well as the mysterious jungle river to discover this fabulous tropical diversity.
In the world's only great ape facility, Pongoland, you can witness chimpanzees, bonobos, gorillas, and orangutans. The Leipzig Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology also conducts research here. In Pongoland, you can even become an explorer yourself at various discovery stations!
Just like in the wild, here giraffes, ostriches, zebras, and other animals live together in peace. There are several excellent vantage points from where you can observe these savannah dwellers. Right next door, you can visit the predator enclosures. Only a moat seems to separate the spotted hyenas from their prey here! In addition, you can also observe lions and cute meerkats here.
