Många författare i Uffizigalleriet gör ett starkt intryck, men det skulle verkligen inte förvåna någon. Personligen blev jag mest imponerad av Caravaggios Medusa. Utsikten från kaféet över Florens är spektakulär.

Vi kunde snabbt hämta ut biljetterna och de berättade för oss var vi skulle gå in. Våra biljetter var en tidsbestämd självtur och de var "hoppa över linjen". Vi hade inte mycket tid i Florens, att inte stå i en lång entrélinje var mycket fördelaktigt. Ponte vecchio ligger precis framför museet. FYI, linjen för att se David inuti är lång. Jag är

Det var inte värt att betala för alternativet "cut the line". Dessutom var galleriet för varmt (även i februari!) för att vara bekvämt. Vi hade audioguiden men hade svårt att följa flödet i museet. Värden var sen på grund av tekniska problem med att skriva ut biljetter - tribune-kön var mycket lång och sedan underväldigande - borde ha varnats. Där det fanns bestämda in- och utgångar fanns det ingen personal på plats så folk vandrade bara in och ut ur utgångarna
Uffizi Gallery
The Uffizi Gallery features works from some of the greatest artists of all time. Once you exchange your voucher for a physical ticket and get through the security check, all you have to do is walk straight in! Then, explore the intricacies of the various compositions on display and marvel at the work of genius artists like Da Vinci, Raffaello, Masaccio, Cimabue, and Giotto. Visit the Botticelli room and admire the Birth of Venus and Primavera, two of the most famous examples of Italian Renaissance art.
Boboli Gardens
The Boboli Gardens is modeled in the Renaissance Style and is home to a wide variety of plants, as well as a vast collection of sculptures dating from the 16th to the 18th centuries. Spreading out over 111 acres of rolling greens, it is wonderfully arranged and a delight for the senses with its heady mix of nature, architecture, and sculpture. Stroll on the geometrical paths and see the many different expressions of the Renaissance. Admire the magnificent sculptures and artworks strewn all over the park, such as the 34-century-old Obelisk from Egypt, Stoldo Lorenzi’s Neptune’s Fountain and more!
Pitti Palace
This historic marvel is a journey through time, with 5 diverse museums that unveil the opulence of the Medici dynasty. Marvel at the treasures of the Grand Dukes in the treasury, step into lavish Royal Apartments, and delve into the fascinating world of fashion and attire at the Museum of Costume and Fashion. Stroll through magnificent halls adorned with priceless art and artifacts and don't miss the breathtaking views from the palace's elevated position, offering vistas of Florence's enchanting skyline.

- All visitors must leave umbrellas, large bags, and backpacks in the cloakroom located near the museum entrances at Uffizi Gallery and Pitti Palace. The use of the cloakroom is free.
