Besöket i Hadrian's Villa var vackert på grund av platsens storlek och majestät. Mycket få besökare trots att vi var på semester. Mycket väl underhållen plats. En riktig resa genom tiden. Beskrivningarna av headout-audioguiden som lyssnades på under pauser i resan var mycket omfattande. Villa d'Este mycket vacker. Även här tyvärr mycket få besökare så skip-the-line-biljetten var praktiskt taget en bonus. Vi förväntade oss mer fungerande vattenfunktioner. Besvikelse över den totala avsaknaden av vatten inne i villan där det finns många fontäner och pipor. Sammantaget hade vi en fantastisk tid att besöka Villa Adriana och Villa d'Este också tack vare anvisningarna i headout-appen.

Villa d’Este
Escape Rome's hustle-bustle to explore Tivoli's hidden gem, Villa d'Este. With stunning gardens, fountains, and grottoes, this UNESCO World Heritage site is a treat for the eyes. Built for Ippolito d'Este, it's a model for European gardens with endless terraces, paths encircled by statues, and wall-to-wall frescoes inside.
Sanctuary of Hercules Victor
Constructed in the 2nd century BC, this monument is a dedication to Hercules. It features a circular structure and well-preserved marble columns and is considered a significant example of Roman religious architecture.

Villa d'Este
- Dogs are welcome at the venue but must be kept on a leash and owners must clean up after them.
- Grotto of Diana, a Renaissance cave, located in the villa has reopened after around 40 years of closure. However, entry to the grotto shall be limited.
Hadrian's Villa
- Opt for comfortable clothing and shoes, as the visit requires some walking.
