Att gå klockan 8 är en spelväxlare, vi kunde uppleva Akropolis med lugn och fridfull atmosfär. Vi behövde inte heller uppleva det genom obekväm värme eftersom vi gick vid den här tiden. När vi var färdiga var det när de större folkmassorna och resegrupperna började rulla in. Det finns så mycket omsorg, uppmärksamhet och skönhet i dessa historiska landmärken att du kan se det med hur välskött och underhållet allt är. Museet var också bra. Tydligt och enkelt förklarar betydelsen av de bevarade artefakterna och jag uppskattade hur vissa bitar "pusslades" ihop, det hjälper dig verkligen att visualisera hur statyerna såg ut då. Audioguiden var också en spelväxlare, rekommenderas starkt till alla som funderar på att boka detta paket!

Att boka kombinationsbiljetter online för Acropolis Parthenon och Acropolis museum via Headput var så enkelt. Biljetterna levererades snabbt och var lätta att ladda ner. Den tid jag ville gå (9:00) var tillgänglig. Kunde hoppa över köerna och gå in lite tidigare. Väl värt det, för om du köper biljetter på båda platserna köar du i evigheter och måste vänta en senare tid för att komma in. Jag rekommenderar starkt Headout för att köpa dina biljetter till ett mycket rimligt pris.

Akropolismuseet är en riktig pärla i hjärtat av Aten. Från det ögonblick du kliver in möts du av en fantastisk blandning av modern arkitektur och antik historia. Utrymmet är rymligt och genomtänkt utformat, vilket gör att besökarna kan uppskatta de otroliga artefakterna utan att känna sig trängda. Utställningarna är vackert utformade med tydliga förklaringar som ger liv åt berättelserna om det antika Grekland. Höjdpunkten för mig var den översta våningen, där du kan beundra Parthenons marmorskulpturer med en hisnande utsikt över Akropolis genom glasväggarna. Personalen är kunnig och vänlig och alltid redo att svara på frågor. Oavsett om du är historieintresserad eller bara nyfiken är Akropolismuseet ett måste - en oförglömlig upplevelse som fördjupar din förståelse för den grekiska kulturen och det grekiska kulturarvet.

På väg till Athens flygplats för att åka hem insåg vi att vi hade några få timmar tillgodo. Att enkelt kunna boka online och att slippa köerna gjorde att vi vågade boka biljetter till Acropolis Museum på väg till Athen. Smidigheten gjorde att vi fick ett fantastiskt spontanbesök på ett museum väl värt att besöka.

Museet var fantastiskt! Så många saker att se. Jag gick själv så jag kunde stanna vid varje utställning så länge jag ville, och jag stannade i minst 2,5 timmar. Jag hade svårt att försöka gå i ordning på den digitala turnén så jag gav upp efter ett tag. Men det gjorde inget, eftersom skyltarna framför montrarna gav massor av information som gjorde det till en underbar upplevelse. Jag önskar bara att andra besökare var mer medvetna om människorna omkring dem. 100% rekommenderar till alla som besöker Aten
