Även om projekt Nattvakten höll mig borta från den målning jag egentligen kom för att se, hade jag en underbar eftermiddag då jag återsåg och lärde mig av några av mästarna. Jag var inte riktigt beredd på hur tagen jag blev av Whistlers arrangemang i grått och gult. Inte heller förväntade jag mig ett sådant glädjerus när jag ställde mig framför Vermeers och Rembrandts. Akustiken i de centrala salarna och trapphusen är fruktansvärt dålig, men när jag väl fick en lugn stund i det magiska biblioteket var det överspelat.

Det var en fantastisk dag på Keukenhof. Trots att säsongen nästan var slut fanns det fortfarande tillräckligt att se.
