Guidade turer i Salerno

Vi älskade att besöka Paestum. Det var en underbar upptäckt med en guidad tur ledd av Mario, som är en fantastisk guide. Stort tack till Mario.

Guiden (Ivan) är en erfaren arkeolog som har arbetat i flera år på Paestum-platsen och utfört utgrävningar för universitetet i Salerno. Han förklarade många saker som en vanlig guide inte skulle ta upp under besöket och fick oss att bli passionerade av Paestum och dess historia.

Tidigt schema för rundturen. Guiden (Francesca från Askos) kompletterade den turismarkeologiska informationen på platsen med anekdoter och många svar på de unga studenternas intressanta frågor.

Once we met at the designated spot, guide took care of all the on-site ticketing. Guided tour of the museum before heading out to the temples provided good context before heading out to the temples (and in a cool location). English speaking guide was excellent, hitting the important spots with historical and architectural explanations, avoiding wandering around on one's own in this extreme heat.

Very knowledgeable guide, took time to explain things in detail and we did not feel rushed. Told us many "bonus" details you would never hear or read about if you were doing a self guided tour. He politely answered questions from some of the other tourists to which the answers were pretty much common knowledge and quickly got back to the main topic without getting derailed. It was a great experience and definitely worth it!

Excelente nuestra guía, muy agradable que sea un pequeño grupo, el lugar es de mucha historia. Nos hubiera gustado que fuera en español.
