Själva utsikten är fantastisk! Jag planerade dock att köpa en biljett till Pompeji online, men det gick inte. Jag var tvungen att köpa en kupong och väl där skulle jag ställa mig i kö och byta kupongen mot en biljett. Varför skulle jag göra det?

Att besöka Pompeji var en fantastisk upplevelse! Allt gick smidigt, även om det som väntat var ganska trångt med turister. Resan från Neapel var dock minnesvärd - tågresan gjordes speciell av en dragspelare som spelade traditionell italiensk musik och passagerarna klappade med. Jag är inte säker på om detta händer hela tiden, men det gav en härlig touch till resan. Själva Neapel är livligt, med utsökt mat och mycket att se. Pompeji är en historisk skattkista som erbjuder fantastiska sevärdheter som är perfekta för foton och en otrolig möjlighet att lära sig om det förflutna. Rekommenderas varmt!

Pompeji var fantastiskt och det var bra att ha biljetter i förväg, men var fortfarande tvungen att köa för att lösa in. Vi väljer bort biljetter utan guide eftersom vi gillar att gå i vår egen takt, men en dag räckte inte för oss att se allt, och kanske nästa gång får vi guiden också för att lära oss mer. Herculaneum är, som alla sa till oss, underbart. Pompeji är så stort och upptaget att det är ganska tröttsamt. Men det var väl värt det. Vi är från Storbritannien och vi har romerska rester hemma, men inget som detta. Herculaneum är lätt att komma åt och antikvariet är fantastiskt. Det finns platser där man kan sitta och bara ta in allt, medan Pompeji är mer fullskaligt. Biljetterna fungerade bra.

The Secret Room is open every day from 9am to 2pm and entrance is allowed to small groups. The Coin section is open on Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 1pm.
