Alhambra är fantastiskt. Det är definitivt värt att gå upp tidigt för att komma in kl. 8.30 innan resegrupperna anländer. Vi tillbringade nästan fyra timmar med att beundra palatsen och de omfattande trädgårdarna. Varning: det finns många trappsteg att klättra om du vill se den underbara utsikten. Snön på Sierra Nevada gjorde en spektakulär bakgrund. Hade inte insett att audioguiden var i digitalt format snarare än (gammaldags) hörlurar.

Det var en oförglömlig upplevelse. Vi insåg dock inte att den tid vi hade bokat gällde tillträde till Nasridpalatsen. Vi hade lite problem vid tillträdeskontrollen, men fick komma in trots allt.

Mycket bra organisation, platsen spektakulär. Jag rekommenderar starkt ett besök. Det är också bekvämt att resa från Malaga till Granada med buss.

På morgonen verkar systemet vara kaotiskt. Jag väntade vid hållplats nr 9 från 10.15 till 10.50 innan ett tåg dök upp, inte den förväntade 20 till 30 minuters frekvens som annonserats. Och sedan tillbringade tåget 15 minuter vid hållplats nr 9 medan föraren hanterade alla biljetter till en lång kö av väntande människor. Så vid nästa stopp har människor där väntat ännu längre, och så blir det värre! Det behövs fler tåg tidigare på dagen samtidigt som alla vill vara i rörelse. Ljudinspelningen har för mycket musik och för lite innehåll. Det är en kort kommentar mellan stoppen om en byggnad, och det är i stort sett allt, sedan musik. Alhambra
An ancient palace, fortress and citadel, the Alhambra is an eighth-century-old site that is one of the few surviving remnants of the Nasrid Dynasty, the last Islamic Kingdom in Western Europe. Gain priority access with this ticket and marvel at the Lion Fountain, hailed as a masterpiece of Islamic art. Twelve exquisitely sculpted marble lions encircle it, each symbolizing strength and power.
Keep going until you reach Alcazaba, Alhambra's oldest and military zone, and explore the remarkable Torres Bermejas. Don't forget to snap a photo from the pinnacle of the Torre de la Vela, offering the finest vistas of the Albaicín neighborhood. Visit the heart of the Alhambra, the Nasrid Palaces, where you can discover it's courtyards like the Court of the Myrtles and Court of the Lions and the Hall of Ambassadors with its stunning wooden ceiling.
