Get ready for 2.5 hours of pure fun at Ōkere Falls Scenic Reserve. The small group guided tour is all about tackling zip lines, swing bridges and treetop platforms.

Zip through the trees and over three thunderous waterfalls at speeds hitting 40 km/h on 4 cables. It’s fast, it’s furious, and it’s a whole lot of fun!

The two expert guides will not only ensure your gear’s tight but also share Maori legends about New Zealand's origins and the Earth's creation.

With swing bridges and hand-built boardwalks, you get to hover over the forest and peek at the plants from a bird's view.

Not only will you explore, but you’ll also plant a native tree labeled with your name and discover the rich flavors of ancient Maori teas.

Fun fact: You'll be zipping right over the top of the world's highest commercially rafted waterfall, Tutea Falls, which stands at a whopping 7 meters!

Rotorua Ziplines is all about connecting you with Papatūānuku (Mother Nature) and Maori culture through eco-adventure tourism. If you are a thrill-seeker with a soft spot for nature, this 2-hour tour at Ōkere Falls Scenic Reserve is just for you.

Zipline over three waterfalls on four lines, hitting speeds up to 40 km/h (the longest line is 236 meters!). One of the waterfalls, Tutea Falls, is 7 meters tall and holds the record for the highest waterfall you can commercially raft down.

Nature meets adventure

But there’s more to this adventure than zipping through the air. You’ll also walk on swing bridges and hand-built boardwalks built right in the middle of a forest filled with native trees like rimu, totara, and kahikatea. Take a break, enjoy the view, and see if you can spot any wildlife, like the kereru, a local pigeon, or maybe even a kiwi bird (they're rare though).

The guides are super friendly and know loads about the area's history and how the Maori people are connected to this land. To top it all off, try some traditional Maori tea and plant a tree — you're having fun and helping the planet at the same time. It's a win-win for you and nature!

What's not allowed

Safety is a priority so this experience is restricted for guests under the age of 5 years and over the weight of 130kg (286.60lb).
