It is not known as the wine capital of Austria for nothing! On this walking tour, you will get to discover the city’s most secretive wine cellars with help from a knowledgeable local guide. This tour includes stops at 3 different wine cellars, some of them so private that they do not entertain regular visitors.
Make Your Time At the Wine Cellar Count
Upon reaching the first stop, your guide will give you a detailed tour of the wine cellar and offer a quick background on its history. You will get a keen insight into the delicate process of wine storage, in case you haven’t already. Then, you can proceed to sample a few glasses of the sumptuous locally cultivated wines. At each of these stops, the wine tasting will be coupled with a sampling of the local Viennese delicacies. Your guide will make your visit memorable by sharing fascinating tidbits from the city’s centuries-old wine history that goes as far back as the 12th century.
