Cirque du Soleil’s LUZIA makes its way to Brisbane, bringing with it an extravaganza of live stunts and acrobatic performances paired with an exploration of Mexican culture and heritage. The show, conceived by Daniele Finzi Pasca, takes audiences through the ages, from modern urban landscapes to the natural worlds of the past. With Gold Coast’s Helena Merten and Eric Koller at the helm, the show is both a visual treat and an ode to a rich heritage that has inspired countless artistic ventures. Yet, LUZIA offers something new, this time in a city steeped in just as much history, vibrance, and lush greenery as itself.
