Wining and dining in South Australia
Discover the wine valley of South Australia, the Barossa Valley. Your all-day tour will begin at your hotel in Adelaide, where you'll be picked up and driven to the Jacob's Creek Visitor Centre. Sip on the world-famous and award-winning wines in a structured tasting, before strolling through the verdant vineyards and enjoying your morning tea. Your next stop is the Lambert Estate, where you'll get to savor some more delicious wines, along with a mouth-watering 2-course lunch. On the way to the Lambert Estate, stop and take a break at the Mengler Hill Lookout, and click some snaps of the surreal views of the Barossa Valley.
Visiting Australia's oldest surviving German settlement
As you leave Barossa, drive past the Herbig Family Tree, where you'll get to know the thrilling story of the Herbig family and the 500-year-old tree. Enjoy your drive through the picture-perfect Adelaide Hills as you move towards Hahndorf. A visit to this area is incomplete without a stop at the Beerenberg Farm Shop, where you can savor and purchase their famous strawberry jam as well as other produce. Finally, you'll reach Hahndorf, the oldest German settlement in Australia. Explore the picturesque streets where you'll find tons of local art and craft to purchase, as well as chilled German beers to cool you down after a long day. Your day of fun and adventure will end with you being dropped off at your hotel.
