Not gonna lie, I was super nervous about the helicopter but WOW. It was smoother than I expected and the views just blew my mind. Went with my bf - he took about a million pics lol. The pilot was kinda quiet but did answer a few of our questions. The pontoon boat ride after was suuuper chill, our guide cracked a few silly jokes. Bring a hat, the sun was STRONG. Would def do it again.

Best birthday EVER. My brother and I surprised our mom with a trip and she legit cried happy tears when the helicopter dipped into the canyon. The river was crazy blue. Our pilot, Kelly, pointed out little caves and we spotted a hawk. Snacks at the waiting area were a nice touch. Protip: bring ur own camera, the official pics are $$.

Really good overall, but we got a bit mixed up finding where to check in for the heli. Staff seemed frazzled that morning, but once we were up in the air, all stress just melted away. The canyon from above = EPIC. Boat driver was hilarious. Would’ve been 5 stars if the instructions at the start were clearer.

My whole family went and all ages loved it. My 7yo was terrified at first but the pilot let him sit up front (with me) and now he’s obsessed with helicopters. Boat ride was super peaceful. Will be talking about this for YEARRRS.

After a 5-7 minute ride, you’ll land on the private landing strip at the bottom of the Grand Canyon.

Now, it’s time for your next adventure as you take a pontoon boat ride down the Colorado River. Relax and get lost in the scenic views as you sail down the serene river. After the ride, you'll get to explore the gigantic park. Sit comfortably in a hop-on hop-off shuttle bus that comes as an add-on with your park entry tickets and get off at any of the iconic places in the park. Explore the park at your own pace and check out Guano Point, where you see remnants of a historical tram, and Eagle Point, named after the Eagle-shaped rock formation.

What to bring

Wear layered clothing from March to September and winter clothing from Oct to mid-March.

Selfie sticks and extending camera poles are strictly prohibited.

While water bottles are allowed, you cannot open them inside the aircraft.

Due to limited space, purses, backpacks, and other baggage are not permitted on the aircraft.
