Your Experience

Delve into the mouth-watering culinary culture of the Romanian capital on a spirited 4-hour walking tour. On the way, you'll also be on the receiving end of the vibrant atmosphere of Bucharest's Old Town. You'll even see some of the town's most significant historical places, like Manuc’s Inn, Princely Court, Lipscani Street, and the Romulus and Remus Roman Monument, and more!

Your tour begins with a restaurant stop to try out some traditional pie. While sampling different flavors, make sure you pay heed to why pies are so important to the Romanian diet. Indulge your sweet tooth some more before heading out to Abel's Wine Bar for a change of pace: wine and cheese! Some of the best Romanian wine and different varieties of cheese awaits you here. Your final stop is at the famous restaurant, Caru Cu Bere, a 130-year-old eatery that acts as one of Bucharest's historical symbols. Try traditional bean soup with smoked bacon in a bread bowl with onion, mici (skinless sausages) with mustard, and papanasi (traditional fried or boiled pastry) filled with jam with sour cream on top! This trip truly is Romanian indulgence at its finest!
