Your adventure begins with a personalized private tour, where an English-speaking driver will accompany you throughout the journey. You'll depart from Athens in luxury Mercedes Benz vehicles. As you make your way, you'll have a short stop at Thermopylae to visit the monument of Leonidas, the heroic King of Sparta, who led a small army of 300 men in a legendary battle against a vast Persian force. Pass through the towns of Lamia, Domokos, and Trikala, immersing yourself in the scenic landscapes of Mainland Greece. Eventually, you'll arrive at the town of Kalambaka and be greeted by the first awe-inspiring view of the imposing rocks of Meteora emerging from the earth.

Marvel at Giant Cliffs and Centries Old Monastries

Upon reaching Meteora, your private driver will take you to the first monastery in the area. Meteora is renowned for its Byzantine monasteries, which have stood for centuries atop the towering cliffs. You'll have plenty of time to explore and visit at least 3 of these Byzantine monasteries, each offering a unique glimpse into the area's spiritual and cultural heritage. The Great Meteoron is the biggest of the monasteries, followed by Varlaam. The Monastery of the Holy Trinity is the most photographed and also the most difficult one to reach. The Monastery of St. Nicholas Anapausas: The first monastery you'll see as you reach Meteora.
Monastery of Rousanos: The women’s monastery which covers the whole width of a small, steep cliff.
Varlaam Monastery: The second largest monastery, adorned with great frescoes.
Great Meteoron Monastery: The largest of all the monasteries on Meteora.
Monastery of the Holy Trinity: The most inaccessible and the third oldest monastery in Meteora.
Monastery of St. Stephan: The most easily accessible of the entire monastic complex of the Holy Meteora.
Panagia Church, Agios Nikolaos of Badovas: One of Athen's oldest churches and a monastery in Badova, stretching between two large rock formations.
Meteora: Home to stunning rock pinnacles and gorgeous scenery.
Athens: Enjoy a scenic journey back to Athens.
