Look Out Over the Hills in Bali
Survey this cultural park from several plazas that each hold a medley of panoramic views and aural architecture. Marvel at the limestone cliffs of the Bukit peninsula as you ride a Segway or Skuti around the park. Stop at Indraloka Garden or Plaza Kura-Kura for some calming energy.
Tirtha Agung, situated at the main entrance to Lotus Pond, has an engraved rock wall narrating the story of Garuda Wisnu Kencana, from birth to becoming the trusted ride of God Wisnu.
Plaza Wisnu and Plaza Garuda offer intimately picturesque sunset spots.
Experience Indonesian Culture and Mythology
Gain an appreciation of Bali’s fascinating heritage by interacting with intriguing cultural performances, legendary folklore tales, immense sculptures, and dramatic cinematic presentation.
At Street Theater you could catch some traditional Indonesian culinary skills in the food court, grab a coffee, and a photograph. Of course, you must spare time and space in your stomach to dine with a view at Jendela. Here you may choose from western, Balinese and Chinese cuisines.
An Statue That Makes a Statement
Wisnu and his fierce companion Garuda stand out among the hilly plateau. At 120 meters, the duo tower over both the Statue of Liberty and Christ the Redeemer. Wisnu, protector of the universe, rides Garuda - the national emblem of Indonesia who represents loyalty, selfless devotion, and freedom. Kencana stands for gold, of which both are adorned in mosaic crowns.
