Bardzo podobała nam się wizyta w Paestum. To było wspaniałe odkrycie z wycieczką z przewodnikiem prowadzoną przez Mario, który jest świetnym przewodnikiem. Wielkie dzięki dla Mario.

Przewodnik (Ivan) jest doświadczonym archeologiem, który przez kilka lat pracował w Paestum, prowadząc wykopaliska dla Uniwersytetu w Salerno. Wyjaśnił wiele rzeczy, których normalny przewodnik nie omówiłby podczas wizyty i sprawił, że byliśmy pasjonatami miejsca Paestum i jego historii.

Terminowy harmonogram zwiedzania.
Przewodnik (Francesca z Askos) uzupełniał informacje turystyczno-archeologiczne o anegdoty i wiele odpowiedzi na ciekawe pytania młodych studentów.

Once we met at the designated spot, guide took care of all the on-site ticketing. Guided tour of the museum before heading out to the temples provided good context before heading out to the temples (and in a cool location). English speaking guide was excellent, hitting the important spots with historical and architectural explanations, avoiding wandering around on one's own in this extreme heat.

Very knowledgeable guide, took time to explain things in detail and we did not feel rushed. Told us many "bonus" details you would never hear or read about if you were doing a self guided tour. He politely answered questions from some of the other tourists to which the answers were pretty much common knowledge and quickly got back to the main topic without getting derailed. It was a great experience and definitely worth it!
