Chociaż Projekt Night Watch powstrzymał mnie przed obrazem, który naprawdę przyszedłem zobaczyć, spędziłem wspaniałe popołudnie, ponownie odwiedzając i ucząc się od niektórych mistrzów. Nie byłam przygotowana na to, jak bardzo uderzyła mnie aranżacja Whistlera w szarości i żółci. Nie spodziewałem się też takiego przypływu radości, gdy stanąłem przed Vermeerami i Rembrandtami. Akustyka w centralnych korytarzach i na klatkach schodowych jest potwornie okropna, ale gdy tylko miałem chwilę ciszy w magicznej bibliotece, skończyłem z tym.
