Built as an attempt to tame the raging Colorado River, and in order to provide hydroelectricity, the Hoover Dam, at the time of its completion, was the largest dam ever to see the light of day. An industrial wonder in all its right, the Hoover Dam is an arch-gravity dam; thicker at the bottom, and thinner on the top. One can’t possibly assess its sheer massiveness until they see it with their own eyes. A stroll through the museum and the visitor center will shine light on the challenge that was the Hoover Dam Project, and the many dangers faced by the workers employed to complete it.
With Helicopter Ride

Important Information
- The time slot you select at the time of booking is the flight departure and not the hotel pick-up time. The hotel pick-up will happen approx. 1.5-2 hours before the flight time depending on the hotel.
- All guests on the tour must bring a government ID to validate their age.
- Children under the age of 2 ride free of charge, provided they do not occupy a seat. Please carry official proof of age.
- Passengers who have a pacemaker will not be able to go inside the Hoover Dam due to the electromagnets in use inside
- No food or drink is allowed inside the Hoover Dam
- The following items are prohibited on the motorcoach tours due to security restrictions at the Hoover Dam: luggage, large backpacks, suitcases, briefcases, coolers, and alcohol. If an item has not been listed, please verify with your reservations agent prior to booking.
- You may bring a bottle of water; however, the bottle is not allowed to be opened in the aircraft
- Layered clothing is recommended through the months of March - Sept, and winter clothing from Oct to mid-March. Sneakers or hiking boots are highly recommended.
- All tours are weather-dependent. In the event of inclement weather, the tour may be rescheduled or refunded
- If a motorcoach with a lift is required we must have a 72-hour prior notification of the date of travel
- All motorcoaches with lift equipment are subject to availability
- All motorcoaches are DOT certified and are able to kneel to curb height
- Service dogs are allowed to travel with the correct and current paperwork, small oxygen tanks are allowed
- Your voucher will be emailed to you shortly after purchase.
- Please display the same along with a valid photo ID at the time of redemption.
- Kindly ensure you arrive 10 - 15 minutes before the scheduled time of your tour in order to avoid any delays.
