Hele pakken. Lunsjen var kjempegod, med mye variasjon for alle. Personalet var veldig vennlige og imøtekommende. Gårdsshowet var søtt, ettersom jeg var en gårdsjente for 50 år siden.

Det var en herlig opplevelse å seile på innsjøens grand old lady, TSS Earnslaw. Utsikten var fantastisk over Queenstown, fjellkjedene og Walter Peak. Måltidet vårt var fabelaktig, Walter Peak Station homestead er vakker og de ansatte var alle nydelige. Vi nøt hele opplevelsen.

Billettbestillingen var veldig enkel. Vi bestemte oss for å bestille billettene våre samme dag som vi skulle reise, og valgte ønsket tidspunkt, og leveringen var umiddelbar. Da vi ankom terminalen, var det enkelt å hente billettene, og vi fikk til og med en høflighetsvisitt. Turen var fantastisk. Turen over innsjøen var flott, og vi satte pris på historien om dampskipet og dets teknologi. Det var flott å få se hvordan dampskipet fungerte. Vi tok bare turen, noe som hadde sine fordeler. Dampskipet var fullt da vi dro fra Queenstown, og vi valgte seter som var ledige inne. På tilbaketuren kunne vi velge hvilket som helst sete og valgte å gå på fordekket i utgangspunktet, og deretter flytte rundt til andre områder av skipet for å nyte hvert område. Min eneste klage er prisen. Jeg tror $ 50 per person for en enkeltbillett er passende verdi for pengene.

Den fire timer lange aktiviteten var utmerket, med cruise over til Walers Peak i en kulldrevet dampbåt. Å se kullet bli levert på TSS Earnslaw før ombordstigning bidro til opplevelsen, og det samme gjorde det å se maskinrommet og lese informasjonstavlene. Chris sørget for en avslappende atmosfære da han sang og spilte gitar på reisen vår. Chris var fantastisk og bidro til en varm og lun følelse. Gourmetgrillen var oppsiktsvekkende, saftig kjøtt, deilig tilbehør og fantastiske desserter, alt rikelig. Personalet godt presentert, vennlig og hjelpsom. Plettfritt sted med vakre hager. Farmer Cory og hans sauehund gjorde et fantastisk informasjonsshow. Høydepunktet på vår NZ-ferie og et must for alle reisende.
