Provence for historienerder

Did the tour with my partner. Loved the villages and the wine tasting (sooo good, I bought a bottle I prob didn't need, lol). Our guide was super knowledgeable but sometimes it felt like info overload. Also, you can’t take pics inside some of the churches, fyi. Wear comfy shoes, lots of cobblestones.

Our guide, Elise, was so fun and made sure everyone was comfy. My wife and I loved the wine tasting—learned a lot, and the pours were generous. The van was clean, group size was just right. Weather was a bit windy but didn’t spoil anything. Would recommend for couples.

We took the Provence villages tour as a couple. The scenery blew us away but tbh, the day felt a bit rushed in some stops (especially Lourmarin). The guide, Sophie, was friendly and answered all my partner’s random questions. Shout out to her patience! The van was clean but the AC was struggling by late afternoon. Worth it for the views and history, but maybe pack water—gotta stay hydrated.

Family trip (kids 9 and 13). Both said it was 'better than expected', which is high praise! The castles were a hit, but my youngest got bored at the wine tasting. Bring snacks and maybe a game for the car rides. Guide was super patient with all our questions.

Was worried about the heat but it actually wasn’t too bad. Our guide had extra water bottles, lifesaver! The villages are STUNNING. Felt a little rushed at one stop but still got lots of great pics. Good day overall.

Booked this for my parents and me—they're both in their 70s and worried about walking, but the guide, Marc, was so thoughtful. He parked as close as possible at each stop and gave us plenty of chill time. The lavender fields were in full bloom and GORGEOUS, even if there were a lot of people (maybe too many, haha). Also, lunch in Bonnieux was delish. Would absolutely recommend for families.

I took my mom (she’s 68) and she loved it. The guide, Lucie, was really sweet and even helped her up some steps in Lourmarin. Free time was nice for exploring little shops. The Pont du Gard stop was EPIC—never seen anything like that before! Lunch was at a tiny café and so tasty. Would recommend for chill travelers.
