Det kongelige slott er vakkert, men en pengemaskin og dårlig organisert. Hopp over køen for å stå utenfor i en halv time for å komme inn og over en halv time for å ta audioguiden. En halvtime for å komme inn i teateret for et 2 minutters besøk. Kø for å kjøpe skyttelbillett for å gå til den engelske hagen, en times ventetid på skyttelbussen!!! Til sammen, mer eller mindre, tre timer venting for et par timers besøk.

Rask og uten hale. Palasset er vakkert. Jeg tok inngangen klokken 8:45 og det var knapt noen der, da jeg dro rundt 12:30 og det var en verden av mennesker

The beautiful Royal Park

Designed using an innovative ‘telescope effect’, the park is a beautiful space full of fountains, statues, and greenery. Visit the park to check out the French-inspired ‘Parterre’, the majestic Fountain of the Three Dolphins, the godly Fountain of Aeolus, the Fountain of Ceres, and many more wonderful cascades. Stop by the fascinating English Garden, the charming San Leucio Belvedere, and the Carolino Aqueduct, and discover the wildlife sanctuary at San Silvestro Oasis.

What to bring

Have entry tickets and a photocopy of your ID ready for a smooth check-in.

Be prepared for varying weather conditions—inside the palace and out in the gardens, it can get chilly, so pack accordingly.

Comfortable shoes are a must for walking, and don't forget water for hydration and sun protection.

What's not allowed

Leave food, drinks, drones, sharp metallic objects, alcohol, and motorized vehicles behind—they aren’t allowed inside.

Pets (except guide dogs), strollers, large bags, backpacks over 40 x 30 x 10 cm, and umbrellas are prohibited. You can check bulky items in the free cloakroom at the entrance.

Flash photography is forbidden inside, and the dress code requires appropriate attire (no skimpy or indecent clothing).

Accessibility

The palace is wheelchair accessible with ramps and elevators available.

Guide dogs are allowed inside.

Accessible parking spaces are near the entrance for easy access.

Additional information

The Royal Palace of Caserta is closed on Tuesdays, New Year’s Day (January 1), and Christmas Day (December 25).

Check train schedules in advance for a timely trip, as the train from Naples to Caserta takes about 40 minutes, followed by a 5-10 minute walk to the palace.
