Vi besøkte slektninger i Carlsbad fra Chicago. Det eneste vi hadde på ønskelisten var å besøke San Diego Zoo for å se pandaene 🐼 Vi fikk et glimt av hannpandaen som gumlet på bambus. Det viste seg at Galapagos-skilpaddene var favorittene våre! Skilpaddehviskeren fortalte oss alt om skilpaddene og fikk dem til og med til å falle i transe!🤩🐢 De frivillige som var stasjonert rundt i dyrehagen, var det som virkelig gjorde besøket komplett. De var så hjelpsomme med hvordan vi skulle gripe besøket an, og med informasjon om dyrene. Vi hadde bare én dag til rådighet, og vi rakk å se nesten alle utstillingene. Det var en fantastisk dag!

Vi ble virkelig imponert over dyrehagen generelt og dens innsats for bærekraft. Koalaene var flotte, og det samme var pandaene.
