Besøket i parlamentet var veldig godt organisert. Gellért termalbadene var vakre, selv om skiltene ikke var helt tydelige inne.

Vi har fått adgangsarmbånd til skapene. De er smale og festet slik at hvis det er folk, kan du ikke engang åpne dem lett ' flere skap kan gjøres tilgjengelig i de forskjellige områdene av det blå armbåndet . Tilstrekkelig renslighet

Personalet virket blasert (i resepsjonen og ved salg av badehetter): ikke særlig smilende, ikke særlig tålmodige... ikke særlig imøtekommende overfor turister, noe som er synd Vi prøvde fire forskjellige bad, men bortsett fra temperaturforskjellene var det ikke noe spesielt med dem. Vi nøt en avslappende formiddag på Gellert Spa. Vi hadde bestilt billettene på forhånd, så det gikk veldig greit å komme inn. Det var veldig praktisk å ha en egen lugar, der vi kunne legge fra oss eiendelene våre og ha tilgang til dem til enhver tid. Vi ble vennlig eskortert til lugaren vår av personalet. Selve spaet var herlig å være i. Det var stille og rolig, og vi hadde det veldig avslappende. Anbefales på det varmeste!

Plan a spa day at the prestigious Gellert Thermal Baths, one of the most prestigious spas in Budapest and the rest of Europe since 1918. Often referred to as the ‘Palace of Baths’, for centuries these thermal waters were used for relaxation and treatment purposes. Soak up the exquisite art-nouveau architecture that is made up of turquoise and marine-green Zsolnay mosaics and ceramics, neo-classical cherub statues, and botanical friezes.

With a number of different pools including thermal pools, swimming pools, and an outdoor thermal bath – Gellert is truly a place to indulge all your senses. Many of the pools have underwater jets for aqua massage therapy and are filled with natural spring water. Check out the different massages available – many are quick and refreshing – and spend some time in the sauna.

What to bring

Bring a sun hat and sunscreen for warmer days.

A swimming cap is required in the swimming pool but not in the other thermal pools.

Additional information

Food and drinks can be purchased on-site.

Pregnant guests must consult their doctor before visiting. Massages are not provided to pregnant women.

On May 1st (Labor Day in Hungary), the ticket prices are different: Ticket with cabin: 32€ and ticket with locker: 29€

Dress Code: Swimwear is compulsory attire to be worn at the spa as this is a mixed bath complex. Any decent swimwear is allowed for both men and women but burkinis are, unfortunately, not allowed.

Flip-flops are the most ideal type of footwear.

The outdoor pool (formerly the wave pool) is temporarily closed.

Cash desks close one hour before closing time.

The pool area closes at 6:40pm.

Saunas and steam chambers are open from 10am to 6pm.

Operating hours during festive seasons vary:

December 24, 2024: 9am-1pm

December 25 & 26, 2024: 10am-8pm

December 31, 2024: 9am-6pm

January 1, 2025: 10am-8pm
