Slottsturen var helt fantastisk. Min beste venninne og jeg besøkte Edinburgh for første gang og bestemte oss for å ta slottsturen, og det var DEFINITIVT verdt det. Slottet i seg selv er allerede fantastisk, men guiden vår Jen var helt utrolig. Fra start til slutt visste hun tilsynelatende alt som var å vite om slottet, var veldig morsom og engasjerende og gjorde turen enda bedre. Alle som planlegger å ta denne turen bør gjøre det 100% og 1000% som for Jen hvis du kan!

Det var et virkelig minneverdig besøk. Stedet tar deg med tilbake til fordums tider, der konger en gang levde og herskere steg opp og falt. Slottet står som et monumentalt vitnesbyrd om Skottlands rike kulturelle og menneskelige arv - dets varige tilstedeværelse er et levende bevis på nasjonens historie. Mange ble kjent med slottet gjennom filmen Braveheart, som vakte stor beundring og sympati for det skotske folket, inspirert av den legendariske frihetskjemperen William Wallace, og som fikk seere over hele verden til å se det. Vi vil rette en stor takk til guiden vår, som med sin store kunnskap beriket vår forståelse av dette vakre landet og dets bemerkelsesverdige fortid.
