Moulin Rouge! The Musical er en medrivende forestilling fra start til slutt. Fra første øyeblikk blir vi omgitt av en imponerende scenografi, full av lys, farger og detaljer som forvandler teateret til en virkelig oppslukende opplevelse. Ensemblet er strålende, med intense og følelsesladde tolkninger, og kjemien mellom Satine og Christian merkes i hver eneste scene. Musikken, som er bygget på store hits som er gjenoppfunnet i overraskende mashups, er smittende og holder tempoet høyt hele tiden. Jeg reiste fra Europa (Belgia) spesielt for å se The Book of Mormon på Broadway, fordi min eldste datter, som er 16 år, er en stor fan av musikalteater og hun elsker spesielt denne forestillingen. Rollelisten var fantastisk. Skuespillerne sang vakkert, og iscenesettelsen, historien, kulissene og teateret hvor forestillingen ble vist var helt fantastiske! Og la oss også snakke om humoren – denne musikalen er utrolig morsom. Vi ble virkelig forelsket i skuespilleren som spilte Elder Arnold Cunningham; han var utmerket!
