Begin your trip to the Hungarian countryside with an air-conditioned bus ride that will drive you south from Budapest to the capital city of Puszta called Kecskemét. You will have one hour to explore the city, which is notable for its many art nouveau buildings. Our local guide will accompany you and share interesting facts about popular attractions like the Town Hall, the Cifra Palace, and the Community Youth Center while you admire its architectural designs.
Continue Your Sightseeing At Lajosmizse
Your next destination will take you to a local horse ranch at Lajosmizse. You will get to spend the next 3 hours in the midst of Hungary’s best countryside views. Upon arrival, all guests will be offered a glass of traditional Hungarian fruit brandy called palinka as a welcoming gesture. Following this, you will get to sit down for a horse show where the talented Hungarian horsemen, accompanied by their horses, will put on an entertaining performance just for you. For those of you who cannot get enough of horses, they can hop on a horse carriage for a ride around the ranch. Although the ride is optional, the experience promises to be fun and can be the highlight of your tour. Before your time at the ranch comes to an end, you will relish a 3-course meal serving mouth-watering dishes from Hungary’s highly-rated cuisine. Make sure to top it off with a glass of sumptuous wine though. Your memorable day trip will draw to a close after you have been driven back to your starting point in Budapest.
