Our tour guide, Nathaniel, had a great personality and was so knowledgeable about London and the history of the royal family! We enjoyed every aspect of the tour! The tour included many stops we would not have been able to pick out ourselves with a backstory to go with each one. Between the stories, history, and kindness he showed (taking pictures for the families on the tour, being aware of who his audience was-age, culture, families) I would recommend this tour to anyone! Definitely well worth it!

I was thankful that our guide knew about the Troops in Color and was able to fit in all the beauty of downtown London, even in the rain, plus allowed us to see the amazing parade! He was extremely knowledgeable of Westminster Abbey and the surrounding area. I was so glad we decided to take the tour instead of just walking on our own. Our guide also helped us find a couple places. Again, very thankful to Headout for the tour!

The walking tour from the London Ritz through the Royal Parks and Buckingham Palace was very enjoyable and educational. Chris was an absolute delight and very knowledgeable and funny as our tour guide. I did not realize how much history was in Westminister Abbey, and all the memorials that are inside , and the Unknown Soldier memorial was very moving.

Enjoyed our knowledgeable guide who knew the history but also shared modern stories. Exceptional history. Westminster Abbey is a British Pantheon with Isaac Newton and Dr. Livingstone and many Royals. The tour of St James Park and the stop outside Buckingham palace was just the right length. We even stopped at Fortnum and Mason, a real treat.

Our tour was cancelled because of a private event. We cancelled and, after good communication with the company, we were satisfied with the refund and that we were updated throughout the process. Because they were helpful and willing to make things right, we would not heaitate to use them for other tours.

Jack our guide was very informative and funny!! I did not realize we would also see changing of the guards so was an added bonus. It was very crowded and hard to see but we saw the band and guides going in and out. Westminster Abbey was amazing!!

Westminster Abbey: Explore the Abbey’s interior at your own pace with a multilingual audio guide. This 1,000-year-old Gothic church has hosted every British coronation since 1066 and serves as the burial site of figures such as Isaac Newton and Charles Dickens.

Coronation Chair & Poets’ Corner: Inside the Abbey, see the 700-year-old Coronation Chair, used in every crowning since 1308, and visit Poets’ Corner, where Britain’s literary greats are honoured and remembered.

Big Ben & Houses of Parliament: Enjoy close views of London’s famous clock tower and the neighbouring Palace of Westminster, the centre of British political life.

Buckingham Palace: View the monarch’s official residence from the outside, including the well-known central Balcony used for major royal appearances.

Due to venue restrictions, pets cannot tag along for this experience.

The Changing the Guard ceremony at Buckingham Palace only takes place on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays; on other days, the tour visits the Horse Guards Parade instead.

Arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes before the start; late arrivals or no-shows are non-refundable.

Tours operate in one language per group; options may be offered in English, French, German, or Spanish.

The English, Spanish, German and/or French-guided tour uses a priority group entrance for Abbey entry.

For the Westminster Abbey & Changing the Guard experience, Abbey visits for organ recital, evensong, or mass are self-guided and subject to the Abbey’s schedule; the guide does not accompany you inside.

An Abbey audio guide may be available on some tours.

Changing the Guard is subject to the British Army’s schedule and may change without notice; typically seen on 10am tours on Mon/Wed/Fri/Sun.

Premium small-group options are capped at about 20 participants.
