We had an amazing experience at the Dubai Fountain Show and the Abra Lake Ride. The fountain show was absolutely breathtaking, with water dancing beautifully to the music and lights. Watching it with the Burj Khalifa in the background made the moment even more special.

The Dubai Fountain is one of the world’s most spectacular choreographed water shows, located on the Burj Lake beside the Dubai Mall and at the foot of the Burj Khalifa. Each show is a carefully coordinated performance where thousands of water jets shoot streams of water up to 140 meters high—roughly the height of a 45-story building. These jets move in sync with a mix of global and Arabic music, creating a dramatic, immersive experience for visitors.

The yacht cruise from Dubai Marina was an amazing experience. The views were stunning, the staff were very friendly, and the entire ride felt smooth and relaxing. The crew clicked great photos for us and made sure everyone was comfortable. A perfect way to enjoy Dubai’s skyline. Highly recommended!

The experience was very good, great show both the fountains and Burj Khalifa. The only downside is that it was very difficult to find, we spent hours looking for it, because the photo on the directions was outdated.

Review of the Dubai Fountain and Boat Ride Experience I recently had the opportunity to visit the Dubai Fountain and partake in a boat ride, and while the event itself was enjoyable, I encountered significant challenges that detracted from the experience. First and foremost, the instructions for locating the collection point for tickets were unclear. Upon arrival, my group and I found ourselves wandering around unnecessarily, which caused a lot of frustration. We not only struggled to find the correct location but also received misleading information. The image provided in the instructions did not correspond to the actual site, leaving us confused. Additionally, there seemed to be a lack of support staff available to assist us in navigating the area, which could have greatly improved our experience. I urge the organizers to update the ticket collection information and ensure better clarity in their communications moving forward. Despite these issues, I hope to revisit the fountain one day, as the actual show and the ambiance are truly breathtaking.

Climb aboard the traditional wooden 'Abra' boat on Burj Lake witness the most amazing lights & water show in Downtown Dubai. This 30-minute cruise on the traditional abra taxi gives you front row seats to the best fountain show in the world. Be awed by this jaw-dropping spectacle featuring 6,000 lights, 25 colored projectors, and 22,000 gallons of water sent into a synchronized dance! Spread over 900 ft in length – equal to more than two football pitches – The Dubai Fountain is placed on the 30-acre Burj Lake.

Important information

Entry to the lake ride is time-specific. Boats depart 15 minutes before every fountain show and it is not possible to reschedule these.

Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

No large pieces of luggage are allowed inside, but you can check them in at the Secure Baggage Area, located near the entrance. Handbags, cameras, and other small accessories are allowed inside.

Each boat can accommodate up to 8 people.

Timings

Afternoon shows

• Saturday – Thursday: 1pm & 1:30pm

• Friday: 2pm & 2:30pm

Evening shows

• Daily: Every 30 minutes from 6pm to 11pm

Ramadan timings 2026

Emaar Entertainment Attractions: All attractions will operate as usual during Ramadan with no changes to timings or experiences.

The Dubai Fountain: Evening shows run every 30 minutes from 7:30pm to 11pm. Afternoon shows will not take place during Ramadan.

The Dubai Mall (1st day of Ramadan until Eid):

Retail (excl. F&B): Mon–Thu 10am–12am | Fri–Sun 10am–1am

F&B: Daily 10am–2am

Souk Al Bahar (1st day of Ramadan until Eid):

Retail (excl. F&B): Mon–Thu 10am–12am | Fri–Sun 10am–1am

F&B: Daily 12pm–2am

Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the start time of your experience to avoid delays

Ticket Redemption Point

Head to the Ground Floor of the Dubai Mall

Display the voucher at the will-call ticket counter located at the At The Top entrance on the lower ground level of the Dubai Mall

Once you have exchanged your voucher for tickets, follow the signs to the "Dubai Fountains"

Once you are outside, please look for the "Lake Ride" sign and enter the ticket kiosk in front of the Wafi Gourmet restaurant
