Mein Besuch im Louvre Abu Dhabi war eine echte Überraschung. Das Gebäude selbst wirkt schon beim Ankommen beeindruckend. Die große Kuppel und das Lichtspiel darunter haben etwas sehr Beruhigendes. Innen findet man eine Mischung aus bekannten Kunstwerken und spannenden Stücken aus verschiedenen Kulturen, gut erklärt und angenehm präsentiert. Was mir besonders gefallen hat: Man hat genug Platz, um alles in Ruhe anzuschauen, ohne sich gedrängt zu fühlen. Der Außenbereich am Wasser ist ebenfalls wunderschön und perfekt, um kurz durchzuatmen. Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam, was den Besuch unkompliziert gemacht hat. Insgesamt ein Ort, den man in Abu Dhabi auf jeden Fall mitnehmen sollte und das nicht nur für Kunstliebhaber, sondern für jeden, der besondere Orte mag. 😌

It was a beautiful experience with the soft touches of the tiny wings that made me excited and happy . The garden reminded me that these lovely butterflies co- exist with me on the bio diverse planet . Thankyou Abu Dhabi for changing many adults again a child, to flutter in the dome along with the butterfly. The natural environment for the giant squirrels, ant eaters, little aligators, and turtles along with the cocoons of butterflies filled life together, in the domes. I wish the species will increase and joy will multiply.

Louvre Abu Dhabi tour was great. For both qasr al watan and louvre abu dhabi, they only have two queues , one for those who booked online (I guess this is what is meant as skip-the-line ticket) and the other is for those who purchase the entry ticket on site. Both queues were equally long. however because the queues are inside the aircon bhuilding, it was not uncomfortable for us, however the concept of "skip the line" did not happen, hence possibly a misnomer for the naming.

The tickets to Butterfly Fardens Abu Dhabi were easy to purchase and the app was consumer friendly. I was able to download tne tickets. Having pur based the tickets in advance meant there was no queues to navigate, we went straight in. The butterfly gardens was mesmerising and well worth the price. You get about 45 mins to go around the two domes which is enough, there are plenty of staffon hand to guide you and andwer ang questions.. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience

Experience was great!! The kids loved the interaction with butterflies.. One suggestion; security man in between two domes should inform the people leaving the first dome that they wont be allowed back into first dome once they leave to the second dome.

Both places were awesome to visit and see the beautiful architecture. Crowd wasn't too bad, it was managed very well by security / staff. The scenery was the best part of the trip.

What to bring

Bring a valid photo ID to match the name on your booking if requested at the entrance.

The galleries are set at a relatively cool temperature to protect the installations. You might want to consider carrying a stole/scarf, especially for kids.

It is recommended to carry swimming clothes and a towel for the kayak tour.

Dress comfortably for climate-controlled indoor environments.

What’s not allowed

Large bags, suitcases, and oversized luggage are not allowed inside the museum or Butterfly Garden for security reasons. You can deposit your belongings in the cloakroom provided at the museum.

Pets are not permitted, except for registered service animals.

Outside food and beverages are not allowed inside the premises.

Food and water are strictly prohibited inside the galleries.

Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is strictly prohibited within the domes and all indoor areas.

Flash photography is not allowed in some areas with sensitive exhibits; tripods are not permitted inside the domes.

Do not touch or disturb the butterflies, animals, or exhibits.

Children under 6 years old are restricted from taking part in the kayaking tour.

Accessibility

This experience is accessible by wheelchair and strollers. Wheelchairs and strollers are available upon request.

The Butterfly Garden is wheelchair accessible, with ramps and accessible pathways throughout the domes.

Accessible restrooms are available on site. Staff are available to assist visitors with mobility needs.

The kayak tour is not suitable for children under 6, people with mobility impairments, and pregnant women.

Check the tides when you plan the kayak tour. Some channels like the yellow route are not accessible during low tide.
