Went up Table Mountain with my mum and brother – honestly, I was a little freaked out at first (heights = eek!), but the cable car felt suuuper safe. The windows fogged up a bit cuz of the morning mist but once we got to the top… WOW. Views for miles, and the city looks soooo tiny. Brought snacks (food up there is $$) and found a quiet spot to just chill. Only downside: queues to get down were LONG. Still, totally worth it for the pics and the tiny dassies running around. Don’t forget sunscreen, the wind up there is sneaky.

Visited with my husband and our two teens. Everyone LOVED it!! The cable car spinning was a surprise, but in a good way – you see everything. We did a short hike at the top, found some cool plants I’ve never seen before. Kids spotted a dassie and lost their minds. If you’re scared of heights, just don’t look down until you’re up. Bring layers, it’s chillier than you think. Recommend buying tickets online to avoid the queue (we didn’t and waited 40 min).

Did the cableway with my girlfriend. Line moved slower than I hoped but staff were friendly and kept things moving. The rotating floor in the cable car is a cool twist (pun intended). Got a bit crowded at the top, but you can walk away from the main lookout and find your own quiet ledge. Weather changed fast – sunny to cloudy real quick, so bring a jacket. Would def do it again but maybe earlier in the day to dodge the crowds.

The views from the top are EPIC, no doubt. But the wait for the cable car was almost an hour, and it’s honestly kinda chaotic around the base (lots of tour groups). If you have patience, it’s worth it, but with little kids it’s a tough one. Also, there’s not much shade at the summit, so bring a hat. Snack bar is just ok, pricey. Still, glad we did it.

Table Mountain was honestly the highlight of our trip. Went with my parents who are not exactly thrill-seekers, but they loved the smooth ride. The cable car spinning caught us off guard but made it way more fun. The café up top has decent coffee and the brownies are YUM. We sat for nearly an hour just soaking up the views. Watch for clouds, they roll in out of nowhere!
