The Blue Mountains are absolutely stunning, with dramatic cliffs, lush forests, and beautiful waterfalls flowing through the valley. Sydney Zoo

Meet the wildlife: See over 4,000+ animals across themed zones like Australia, Africa, and Asia, featuring giraffes, elephants, and kangaroos.

Get up close with animals: Try the Meerkat Encounter to hand-feed these playful creatures, or enjoy the Elephant Encounter for a close-up look at these gentle giants.

Explore natural habitats: Walk through areas like Primate Boulevard, Daintree Walkthrough, and Devil’s Den, designed to feel just like the animals’ real homes.

Catch live talks: Join keeper talks and feeding sessions scheduled throughout the day to learn about the animals' behaviors and habitats.

Scenic World

Ride the Railway: Experience the world's steepest passenger railway, descending 310 meters into the lush rainforest of the Jamison Valley.

Soar on the Skyway: Glide 270 meters above the valley floor, enjoying views of the Three Sisters, Orphan Rock, and Katoomba Falls.

Explore the Walkway: Stroll through a 2.4 km elevated boardwalk, immersing yourself in the ancient rainforest and exploring native flora and fauna.

Wear comfortable shoes and bring sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, and bottled water.

Accessibility

Sydney Zoo

This experience is wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible. Prams are available to hire for $15 with a $20 refundable deposit. Wheelchairs are free to hire with a $50 refundable deposit.

Scenic World

The Cableway, Skyway, and the shortest part of the rainforest boardwalk (around 10 minutes) are wheelchair accessible. The Railway is not wheelchair accessible.

Infants and small children must be held by a guardian as baby seats are not provided on the Railway, Skyway, or Cableway.

The Cableway and Skyway are both stroller-friendly experiences. For safety reasons, strollers are not allowed on the Scenic Railway. Stroller access is limited on the longer routes of the Scenic Walkway due to steep gradients and multiple stairs.

Your guide dogs are welcome at the venue. Bring proof of training and ensure your dog wears a harness and leash at all times.
