The BEST viewing experience. Whilst in NY we visited 4 viewing platforms, The summit one Vanderbilt, was the best experience and the best viewing platform. The inter-active experience rooms added a lot to the visit, and we felt the views were the best, with great photo opprtunities with the reflections and the glass floored balconies. Empire State is iconic and must be done to say you have been up (night time offers an alternative vista) the Edge glass floor and being outside is a different experience and the One World trade centre is a view from southern Manhattan, all great, but Summit One vanderbilt was the best overall.

I paid extra for the Ascent Elevator. once we were on it, The fire alarm went off while we were in the Ascent elevator. We had to immediately cut short the tour and come down right away. It was a bit scarey . Once at the bottom a manager on the 93rd floor, told us that headout would be refunding us for that part of the tour.

The excitement of Summit SUMMIT One Vanderbilt begins long before you even step inside. As you approach and prepare to discover its iconic spaces, there’s an undeniable electricity in the air—the thrilling anticipation of knowing you’re about to experience something truly unique. Once inside, the golden light of sunset sets Manhattan ablaze, offering a breathtaking, weightless perspective of the city below. From up here, landmarks like the Empire State Building and the Art Deco spire of the Chrysler Building feel almost within reach, bathed in a warm glow that makes them look even more majestic. The infinite reflections in the mirror room and the surreal lightness of the balloon room turn the entire visit into a daydream. It’s a moment of pure magic that I would recommend to anyone visiting New York.

See New York's skyline from three floors as you move through immersive spaces that blend art and views for a new way to experience the city.

Your ticket includes entry to the SUMMIT experience, as you move across three floors of immersive rooms and spaces, then unwind at Après.

On each level, spend time at the viewing areas, taking in New York's skyline in every direction and capturing your own photos of Midtown below.

Upgrade your ticket to enjoy evening or night entry, access to the glass elevator experience at Ascent, Air and Levitation exhibits, or a skip-the-line tour with a guide through SUMMIT.

A 5 year old's smile! Memories! Views! The silver balls were something else, floating overhead, under foot. Trying to keep her still for pictures. Impossible
