What to expect

The climb: Soar upward to your chosen altitude—8,000 ft or 15,000 ft—during a 20-minute flight, enjoying stunning views of Melbourne’s skyline, St Kilda Beach, and Port Phillip Bay.

The jump: Opt for the 8,000 ft jump for a 20-second adrenaline rush or dive from 15,000 ft for an intense 60 seconds with views of Luna Park and the city.

The descent: At 5,000 ft, your instructor opens the parachute, and you’ll float calmly for 5-7 minutes, enjoying peaceful views of St Kilda Beach and the coastline.

The touchdown: Touch down smoothly on St Kilda Beach, completing your jump with a certificate.

What to bring

Carry your ID for a seamless experience.

Wear closed shoes like trainers or running shoes to protect your feet from bumps or brushes against the airplane or ground.
What’s not allowed

Use of electronic devices, including personal camera and video equipment is not permitted on the aircraft or at any time during the jump.

Dentures and other loose items are not allowed on this experience. It is recommended to keep them with the staff or leave them in your accommodation.

Guests are not allowed to consume alcohol or recreational drugs within 8 hours prior or scuba dive within 24 hours the scheduled skydive jump time.

This experience is restricted for guests aged 16 and over and under 115 kg. Those over 105 kg will need extra assessment for safety and harness fit by a drop zone officer or a tandem instructor.

This experience is not suitable for pregnant women and guests with epilepsy or cardiac issues.

Guests with a dislocated shoulder can join the experience, but must inform staff so an alternate freefall position can be arranged.

The meeting point is at Skydive Melbourne in Moorabbin Airport, roughly 35 minutes away from Melbourne.

Guests under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian on jump day to sign the paperwork.

Guests must complete an online check-in form including pre-registration with the Australian Parachute Federation (APF) before arriving at the drop zone.

While the weight limit is 115kg, extra charges will apply for guests over 94kg. Guests between 94 – 104kg = +AUD $55, 105 – 114kg = +AUD $80, and 115kg and over = +AUD $105.

You can add skydiving photos and videos to your package at an extra cost.

Guests with spectacles or contact lenses will be provided with big goggles.

Skydiving is a weather-dependent activity. Arrive with no time constraints. If the weather is unfavorable, your jump will be rescheduled to a date that best suits you.
