6 Bridges Douro River Sunset Cruise

Honestly, this cruise was the highlight of my week in Porto. I went solo, brought a little notebook to scribble in, and just soaked up the river breeze. The views of those bridges—SOOO gorgeous, especially if you snag a spot near the front (get there a bit early for that). Staff didn’t do a big spiel but answered all my random questions with a smile. Boat was clean. I even saw a couple of seagulls chasing the boat for crumbs, which cracked me up. Only thing: bring a jacket, even on sunny days it gets cool on the water. Would totally do it again.

Did this with my bf on a whim after lunch. Super chill way to see Porto, especially if ur feet are tired. It was a bit busy (guess everyone had the same idea), but we still got a seat on the side for good pics. The commentary was a bit hard to hear sometimes, but the bridges themselves are the real stars. Tip: go for the later cruise for better lighting if you wanna take photos.

Booked the sunset cruise with two friends. WOW. The colors on the river were unreal, made my phone photos look pro-level. Crew was friendly and actually quite funny. Drinks on board were a bit pricey but hey, you’re paying for the view. There was a group celebrating a birthday and everyone ended up singing along. Just a happy vibe all around.

It was okay, not amazing but not bad either. The river was a little crowded with boats and we had to wait about 20 minutes past our booking time. Once we got moving, the views were cool and the bridges are impressive. Not sure I’d do it again but glad we tried it.

My parents and I did this cruise on a whim because it started raining, and tbh it was the best decision we made all day. You’re covered from the weather and still get EPIC views of both sides of the city. The boat has these little wooden benches, a bit hard if you sit too long, but still comfy enough for the ride. Would recommend for families or anyone wanting a chill break.
