Der Kapitän und die Bedienung waren sehr freundlich, meine Tochter war zu Besuch bei mir in Frankfurt und fand es sehr schön diese einzigartige Perspektive auf die Stadt zu bekommen so wie die vielen spannenden Infos. Die Getränke waren sehr gut und perfekt temperiert für diesen heißen Tag. Danke!

The cruise was just the right length of time (just over 1 hour) and the commentary on board was excellent in English and German. The bar was well stocked and prices were reasonable too with excellent service. Highly recommended.

Die Schifffahrt war sehr schön und informativ. Die Erklärungen waren gut zu verstehen. Wir fanden die Fahrtzeit von einer Stunde vollkommen ausreichend und werden bestimmt noch mal eine der anderen angebotenen Fahrten buchen.

Het is een leuke manier om de stad van een anderekant te bekijken. Lekker drankje op het hoge dek en lekker rond kijken. Met duidelijke verteller aan boord die zegt wat je ziet.

Das Getränkepersonal war sehr nett und schnell. Natürlich war die Aussicht und die Fahrt an sich das Higlight. Die Moderation war interessant und verständlich.

The route is short and smooth, making it ideal if you want a quick overview of the city without committing to a long tour. Snacks and drinks are available to purchase onboard, so you can settle in and enjoy the ride comfortably.

What to bring

Your QR code ticket can be presented on your smartphone at boarding.

In cooler months, bring a jacket if you plan to spend time on the open sun deck; the upper deck is exposed to river wind, and temperatures are noticeably lower than street level.

Bring cash or card for any snacks or drinks you wish to purchase from the on-board bar during the cruise.

What's not allowed

Outside food and drinks are not permitted on board the MS Palladium.

Accessibility

Dogs are permitted on board for a fee of €3.90 per cruise, and water bowls are available on request. Dogs must remain on a leash at all times.

The MS Palladium provides ground-level access to the main deck, with a wheelchair-accessible toilet available on that deck. Access to the open sun deck is only possible via a staircase.

The cruise is confirmed as wheelchair accessible. Guests with prams or strollers can also board and access the main deck without difficulty.

If you are a wheelchair user, the main deck provides full barrier-free access with good views of the riverbanks; the upper deck cannot be accessed by wheelchair. Guide dogs and assistance animals are welcome on board.

Additional information

Arrive at the KD Ticket Office on Mainkai, Frankfurt (near the Eiserner Steg / Iron Bridge), 15 minutes before your selected departure time.

The commentary is delivered by loudspeaker announcement throughout the cruise in both German and English, it is not an audio guide via headset.

The MS Palladium is a modern river cruiser built in 2006, with approximately 400 sqm of usable deck space.

The full loop covers roughly 50 minutes upriver to the Gerbermühle turning point, then returns to the Mainkai jetty.

The on-board bar is available for the duration of the cruise.
