Our tour guide has her degree in art history and she is from the local area so our tour was amazing! First time on the French Way Inwas able to have a live tour in English. Only issue was finding the group as I certainly did not see any secret ways to identify the correct guide (hint - know the color of umbrella) in the "where to meet" information from "head out". I had to be bold and approach tour guides to find my tour.

It was a great introduction to the history of St James as it relates to the Santiago de Compostela cathedral. Our guide, Carolina, spoke clearly and welcomed questions from the people in the tour. She explained things with enough detail so we appreciated the artifacts we were looking at.

The ear pieces were great, I could still hear the guide without having to stand next to him. He was very knowledgeable and I learned a lot, would recommend this tour.

Enjoyed it all. Guide was easy to understand and very knowledgeable. I forgot to ask her to explain how james the lessor's head got to the relics. And is it not a weird coincidence, to be explained by the guide, how and who orchestrated the headless body of apostle James the elder has got married to the head of apostle James the lessor in the same Cathedral srea !?!? lol
