The architecture alone is breathtaking — the grand facade and sweeping courtyards set the tone the moment you arrive, and the interior only gets more spectacular from there. The guided tour was incredibly informative, bringing centuries of Spanish royal history to life in a way that kept us engaged throughout. The Royal Collections on display are simply outstanding — from priceless tapestries and paintings to ornate furniture and weaponry, every room tells a story. What really surprised us was how much you get for the price. For such a world-class attraction, the entry fee offers exceptional value and the visit easily fills a full half-day. Absolutely incredible experience, especially for anyone who loves Spanish royal history. The Royal Collection, crowns, jewelry, letters and stunning rooms were fascinating. Buying the ticket in advance also made entry super easy, with no waiting in line. The only downside was that some areas felt quite crowded with large tour groups, but overall it was an unforgettable visit.

Jesus was a great tour Guide! He is knowledgeable of the the Spanish Royality. It would be nice if we were informed of the change of the meeting point. Overall very informative experience.

Scan your ticket at the Royal Palace of Madrid entrance and bypass the regular ticket line. Depending on your ticket, either meet your English-speaking or Spanish-speaking guide at the designated check-in point or collect your audio guide before you begin. Guided tour: Choose a guided tour in English and Spanish with an English-speaking guide or a Spanish-speaking guide, and follow a structured route through key palace spaces while hearing context about what you see.

Audio guide: Opt for a digital audio guide in 5 or 16 languages in selected variants and explore room by room with commentary on your own schedule, without needing to follow a group.

Royal Armory: Visit the space that houses the arms and armor the Spanish monarchy used throughout time.

What to bring
