Religious Sites in Normandy

Der große Parkplatz mit Shuttlebus hat uns schnell hin und zurück gefahren. Parkplatz, wenn man den ganzen Tag da ist, 24€ inkl. Shuttle. Mont Saint-Michel ist sehr beeindruckend. Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis mit einer tollen Aussicht, vielen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants. Die vielen Treppen sorgen für genug Bewegung 😅.

L'achat sur le site internet s'est parfaitement déroulé et à l'heure dite j'ai pu démarrer la visite de l'abbaye qui est absolument magnifique. Un endroit à visiter surtout par beau temps. Si vous le pouvez éviter la navette bus, il faut 40 minutes à pied pour s'y rendre.

Todo fue correcto, no tuvimos problemas al acceder, incluso pudimos entrar un poco antes de la hora prevista. Le Mont Saint-Michel es un lugar impresionante, es la 3ª vez que lo visito y siempre me sorprende, esta vez pudimos ver la subida de la marea de una forma espectacular e impresionante desde lo alto del Mont saint- Michel, un espectáculo único.

Den Tip möglichst früh hinzufahren, können wir nur weitergeben. So war es relativ entspannt und wir sahen Le Mont Saint-Michel sogar aus dem Nebel "aufgehen". Ein Ticket vorneweg zu kaufen lohnt sich, so kommt man relativ gut rein.

As soon as you head off to the abbey by foot from the parking, you see more and more of the astonishing details. We arrived around 4 pm with my partner and toddler (2yo), who we brought with the stroller. In the beginning, the entrance was a bit overwhelming because it was very busy, but as we got close to the abbey the crowd had spread out and it became more pleasant. The visit itself was quite impressive, you can't stop to wonder how this was all created. The only 'downside' was that there were no signs with information, so if you don't take the audio guide / tablet, you only get to admire the architectural beauty, but you don't really leave smarter than you arrived. The weather was partly sunny, partly clouded, which gave us the benefit of seeing it in different shades and lights.

La visita a Mont Saint Michel è stata un'esperienza bellissima: man mano che mi avvicinavo all'abbazia si apriva ai miei occhi uno scorcio incantevole. Arrivata in cima, l'abbazia mi ha riservato qualcosa di speciale sia dal punto di vista religioso che architettonico. Porterò per sempre con me la grande emozione di questo magico luogo!
