Went with my partner and our 9yo kiddo, and honestly – didn’t expect to LOVE the place so much. The guide (Anna? I think?) had wild stories about the artists, not just boring dates. My son got obsessed with a painting of a dog (no idea by who, but he talked about it all day). It was busy, sure, but not in a bad way. My only tip: wear comfy shoes, the floors are hard on your feet after a bit. Oh, and you can’t take flash pics inside, which my partner learned the awkward way. Would do it again!

Brera district tour was cooool, even with the drizzle. Our guide (Giovanni, I think?) kept things moving, so we didn’t freeze. Learned a LOT about painters I’d never heard of, and the museum itself is kinda a maze (in a good way). Only downside: had to wait a bit to get in, but guess that’s normal. Pro tip: grab a coffee nearby after, those little bars are epic.

Spent the afternoon wandering the Pinacoteca with my mom – total art binge. The Caravaggio totally blew my mind, but my mom was all about Raphael. The guide had stories for days. It was a bit crowded, but tbh, didn’t bother me much. Loved the vibe of Brera – feels like old and new mashed together. Would def recommend, esp if ur into art (or even if you’re just pretending).
