This was just fabulous. The Museum had a cafe to serve breakfast, which was excellent and room after room of the most wonderful Impressionist and Post-Impressionist paintings by the well known artists and the not-so-well-known. It was busy, but most people moved on quickly and left us in peace and quiet to experience what we had come to Paris to see. There was so much more to see, sculptures from the past being one more exhibit to enjoy.

A wonderful museum with a high quality audio guide which permits wandering around and listen to facts about whatever item you're interested in. Logistically the entrance worked very well and the venue offers a nice atmosphere with clean facilities and a beautiful historic building.

d'Orsay is our all-time favorite museum. The paintings are fascinating, we adored the art-nouveau exhibition immensely. All in all the museum is a decent rival to the Louvre

Headout made our visit to Musée d’Orsay truly memorable. The process was effortless – booked online in minutes, received the ticket right away, and walked straight in at 11:00 without any waiting. The collection is stunning – standing under that iconic clock with sunlight streaming in was a moment I’ll never forget. Seeing the real paintings of Monet, Van Gogh and Degas felt almost unreal. een snelle toegangsprocedure, de lockers zijn een prima faciliteit. De drukte was evenwel zodanig dat sommige kunstwerken niet goed konden bekenen. Misschien een rem op het aantal bezoekers dat tegelijkertijd kan worden toegelaten.
