The Northern Lights tour booked through Headout was a great experience. The tour was well organized, the guide was helpful, and transportation was smooth. We were fortunate to witness the Northern Lights, which made the trip truly memorable. Overall, very satisfied with the experience

The overall experience was fantastic. Although the bus leader’s English wasn’t completely fluent, it never caused any communication issues. He was dedicated throughout the whole trip—sharing local culture and stories, explaining how to photograph the aurora with a camera, and making sure we didn’t get bored or sleepy during the long drive. We stopped at three different locations. At the largest one, the leader served us hot cocoa and actively searched for signs of the aurora for the group. I was incredibly lucky to witness beautiful, dancing northern lights. The leader also helped take many photos for us—completely free of charge. At the end of the tour, he even dropped me off near my accommodation. Since I’m someone who prefers not to engage in small talk within small group tours, the bus tour format suited me perfectly. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it!

We had a booked trip at 23/12, but the texted us that the tour is not going to be conducted due to not enough participation. We were ucky and one of their partners made the tour on 22/12. Due to the cloudy weather we did not manage to see clearly the aurora. The activity is pretty based on the weather and you may be disappointed after the trip. At the campfire they gave us tomato soup bread and hot chocolate which was very helpful in the cold weather.

We saw the lights but we felt the tour lacked professionalism. In particular the driver had personal calls on his phone, on speaker and spoke loudly. He also had what we believe was his girlfriend on board, occupying a front seat who he also engaged in personal conversations with during the tour and first of all he played awful rap music (or similar) at loud volume thru the trip even after he was asked to turn it off. He didn't seem to be aware of the impact his behaviour had on paying guests. The tour guide did his best. The tour description doesn't match the experience as it relates to snacks and light meals. We were offered hot drinks as and cookies only. So altho we saw the lights we cannot recommend this tour. In contrast we did the boat tour the following night and that was a great experience.
