Cable car was excellent Getting the tickets an absolute nightmare Headout did not supply the QR code so we had to move queues , it took over an hour on Chat for this to be resolved , had to send a pdf with tickets on. Was told should only use the Cablecar company to book tickets - had to prove purchase on my credit card account before they would issue us with tickets that would scan on their system

Our experience with Headout was exceptional from start to finish. The booking process was incredibly smooth, and we received our digital tickets instantly. What really made the visit special was how we were able to skip the long queues at the entrance, saving us so much time to enjoy the landmark. Soar above Lantau Island on a scenic 25-minute cable car ride, offering stunning views of rolling grasslands and the South China Sea.

Travel 5.7 kilometers along a bi-cable ropeway between Tung Chung town center and the peaceful Ngong Ping village.

Choose between a one-way or round-trip journey, with cabin options including Standard, Crystal (glass-bottom), or Crystal+ (which is ultra transparent) for an upgraded view. Most round-trip combos include a standard cabin for the return leg.

Fun Fact: Ngong Ping is home to the world’s second-largest outdoor bronze statue of Lord Buddha – an awe-inspiring sight not to be missed!

Start your journey at Tung Chung Cable Car Terminal. Present your digital or printed ticket at the entrance for validation. Be prepared for a standard security check and carry valid photo ID. Cabins depart frequently throughout the day.

What's not allowed

Guests are prohibited from eating or drinking (except water) inside the cabin.

Smoking is restricted at the venue and inside the cabins.

Due to venue restrictions, pets cannot tag along on this experience.

Accessibility

This experience is accessible by wheelchair and pram/strollers.

Guests with disability can approach the Guest Services Operator for assistance after arriving at the terminal.

It is recommended that wheelchair users be accompanied by a guardian.

Your guide dogs are welcome at the venue.

Pregnant women and guests with acrophobia (fear of height), chronic illnesses, claustrophobia, or other illnesses on the day of travel are recommended to consider their physical reactions before they decide to travel on the cable car.

Additional information

In the event of inclement weather, such as rainstorm or thunderstorm, the cable car service may be suspended, depending on the actual circumstances.

Children under the age of 12 years must be accompanied by a guest aged 15 or above to board.
