Getting started

Please arrive 45 minutes before departure at the Pacific Whale Foundation Ocean Store in the Maʻalaea Harbor Shops. After check-in, you will meet the crew, get properly fitted with the provided snorkel equipment, and board the catamaran. A comprehensive safety briefing will prepare you for your time in the water before you set sail.

What to bring

Pack sunglasses, a hat, a light jacket, a towel, and reef-safe sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun and wind.

Make sure to carry a credit or debit card for onboard purchases, since the vessel does not accept cash for transactions; cash is accepted only for gratuities.

What’s not allowed

For safety purposes, full-face snorkel masks cannot be used during the tour.

Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited onboard.

Guests must remain properly seated and may not stand on benches or chairs, sit on railings, tables, counters, or chair backs, and children may not ride on shoulders.

Accessibility

Guests who are under medical supervision or have heart, respiratory, blood pressure, or mobility conditions should consult a healthcare provider in advance and notify the crew before the trip begins.
